Chad Wolahan
Project Director
Chad is a mining engineer with over 22 years of experience turning complex technical studies into real, viable projects. He has specialized expertise in room and pillar mining operations and a strong track record of optimizing mine plans and processes to increase project value. Before joining the White Pine team, Chad served as Vice President of Projects at Solaris Resources and Vice President of Mining at Ivanhoe Mines, where he led everything from initial study work through full mine planning. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Montana Technological University.
Amanda Zeidler
Senior Director, Environment
Amanda brings more than 25 years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, safety, and risk management. As HSE & Permitting Manager at Eagle Mine in Marquette County, she developed an in-depth understanding of Michigan's regulatory environment. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Environment for Lundin Mining Corporation. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a Chemistry focus from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Majed Badiuzzaman
Senior Project Engineer
Majed is a Professional Engineer with 10 years of experience keeping complex mining projects on track. His experience spans budget and forecast management, coordinating cross-discipline engineering teams, and overseeing construction and commissioning within operating mine environments. Before White Pine, Majed worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Compass Minerals and as an Engineering Project Manager for J.D. Irving. He holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Dalhousie University.
Meagen Morrison
External Relations Manager
Meagen is a social performance professional with over 15 years of experience building trust between mining operations and the communities around them. She spent her career at Eagle Mine where she led community and stakeholder engagement efforts. Originally from Bessemer, Meagen is glad to be part of a project that will benefit the western U.P. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry focus from Northern Michigan University.
